Your Custom Home Journey
At Scenic Valley Homes, we make the custom home building process clear, transparent, and stress-free. Here’s how we bring your dream home to life:
Step 1 – Lot Evaluation
We start by reviewing your lot — its size, topography, views, setbacks, and any unique features. This helps us determine the best layout and orientation for your new home.
Step 2 – Design & Planning
If you already have architectural plans for your home, we’ll review them. If not, our partner architectural firm can create a custom plan perfectly suited to your lifestyle and the Texas Hill Country.
Step 3 – Timeline & Scheduling
We discuss your ideal move-in date and work together to align it with our current construction schedule for the best possible timeline.
Step 4 – Budget & Quote
Once we understand your vision, we prepare a detailed, transparent quote based on your desired square footage, finishes, and features.
Step 5 – Contract & Financing
Once you accept our proposal, we sign a contract and coordinate with your lender or bank to take care of financing and payment. A deposit/down payment is required to begin work and all payments are made in stages as determined by your bank or financier.
Step 6 – Construction Begins
-Land Management & Site Preparation
-Foundation
-Framing
-Exterior Finishes (roofing, siding, windows, etc.)
-Interior Finishes (drywall, cabinets, flooring, painting, fixtures, etc.)
Step 7- Final Inspection & Delivery
Once construction is complete, we perform a thorough final walkthrough and inspection together. We address any remaining items on the punch list, ensure everything meets our quality standards, and officially hand over the keys to your beautiful new home!
